Just remember that Vinnie is playing along to a loop that is only coming out of is monitors.
I was always in awe how Vinnie plays with the loops just comin from his Monitor. The gigs I play to loops or click , I have to use in-ear monitoring to really be dead on it.
I bought the MD Classic Tracks and can play along with reading the chart , but not the solo and two or 3 fills, that are just to fast for my hands and feet, especially the two fills n the end and the fill back from the solo into the head.
I can get all the kickpattern with the chart, but I never memorized them. I think that's not nexessary, because that's Vinnie's stuff, not mine.
Another GREAT rescue after missing going back to the head of the song is on the MD 2000 DVD in the E Minor Shuffle after Neils solo. Vinnie didn't see the cue to go back to the head, but rescued it really great.
Unfortunately , I can't listen to that track anymore. I accidentaly stepped on my Vinnie solo CD. I have to buy it again. :-(
